How Women Can Prevent a Heart Attack

0

Women’s World magazine recently published an article on heart attack prevention. The article addresses chronic inflammation as a bigger threat than something like high cholesterol levels.

What can be done to lower chronic inflammation?

1. Get a dose of natural “aspirin”
There are several fruits that are filled with painkilling salicylates (the same compound found in aspirin, which benefits the heart). Some of these fruits include: blackberries, raspberries and strawberries.

2. Helping arteries with seasonal vegetables

Vegetables like broccoli, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and beans all contain anti-inflammatory phytonutrients.

3. Take daily tea breaks

Black and green tea has shown to also have anti-inflammatory powers. Women’s World recommends drinking about three cups a day.
There are many preventative heart disease measures available that can make fighting heart disease easier.
